Blueberry Picking

 Every year we pick bluberries at Mommy's Aunt Lois' blueberry farm.

 We found a vine that we swung on. 

 Thomas got blue teeth from all the blueberries he ate. 

James ate a lot of blueberries and Thomas and William made sure he always had plenty.

Family Night

Every Friday night at the Moss farm is family night.  We used to do the traditional pizza and a movie, but lately we've been branching out.   A couple of weeks ago, we went to Jackson to eat at our favorite sushi restaurant and shop for a bike for Mommy.  Now everyone has a bike!

So last Friday, we went on a four-mile ride over our little country roads.  The weather was good, and the scenery was beautiful.  We would like to do it again, but with the heat up in triple digits, we might have to  postpone that plan.

After biking, we had a picnic supper, complete with watermelon and ice cream cones!  The boys loved the watermelon, in spite of -- or, perhaps, because of -- messy shirts and faces.

And whether it's fishing, board games, or watching a movie, the most important thing about it is family.

Happy 12th Birthday, Anna!

 10 random facts about Anna:

1. She has a very contagious laugh.  If she starts to giggle, every one else follows suit. 
2. She likes (or should I say loves?) to read, especially fiction and biographies.
3. Her favorite music group is the Wissman Family.
4. Anna is a wonderful cook.  She makes the best whole wheat bread!
5. Her favorite foods are strawberries and potatoes.
6. She was born the day before we moved.
7. She plays the piano almost constantly.  She enjoys transposing songs into minor keys.
8. Anna has been studying for the Bible Bee, and her favorite part is the study of 2 Timothy.
9. She prefers underwater swimming to overwater.  We hardly ever see her when we swim :). 
10. She loves crafts, and her favorite store is Hobby Lobby.
