Bible Bee Update

Those of you who watched Delie this afternoon already know, but for those of you who didn't (poor you), she did GREAT!!!  She flawlessly quoted every passage given to her and, more importantly, she did it with joy and to the glory of God.  I was so blessed to hear her proclaim God's Word.

Although she did not miss a single word on stage, her preliminary test scores were not quite high enough for finals.  Instead, she, along with Samuel and Thomas, have something very exciting tomorrow!  (I'm not sure if I can say what, due to confidentiality agreements--I'll keep you posted if I can).

However, I highly recommend that you watch some of the finals tomorrow.  Every single one of the finalists is amazing, and such an encouragement to be around.  Plus, we know at least one person on every division--so help me cheer on Abigail in Primaries, Carrie-Grace in Juniors, and Daniel in Seniors!

Lots of pictures to come once we get back home. :)

We so enjoyed watching Delie recite Scripture via the web-cast in the semi-final rounds yesterday! Delie, you did so well. You were just your sweet, humble, joyful self and we were blessed. We love you and your family (and miss you)! Congratulations to each of you! Demie for the Moores

Delie was AMAZING! I was floored at the length of the passages, and couldn't believe how seemingly calm she was. We are so proud of her!

Rats! I so wish I could have watched Delie in Semis! I'm sure you did a fantastic job! :D Sadly, because of David's advancing to the game show and filming being right then I was unable to. :( Great job, Delie! :D It was awesome seeing y'all again!

Thanks to all of you for your encouraging comments!

@Stephanie and Moore Family: I'm glad you were able to watch her. She and the other semi-finalists are such a blessing to me, both onstage and off. Praise the Lord for such a wonderful opportunity to proclaim His Word!

@Carissa: I can *so* identify with you! I missed all the final rounds (except for the last ten minutes of Seniors) for the same reason. It was great to see you again, but I wish we could have talked more. Maybe next year...

Can't wait to see your national pictures!! BTW, I have a letter for Joy but don't have your home address. Would you mind sending me a comment on my blog with it, and I won't publish it? Or, you could send it through my email, which I think you have. Thanks!

In Christ,
Bethany

If you're Bethany P., it's coming your way! If your last name begins with M, C, or X--'cause I have quite a few Bethany-friends--either email me or comment again with your last name or initial.
